2014 Meehan Vineyard William Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark purple black hue. The nose offers up aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice subtlety infused with choc mint followed by some spicy vanillin cedar. Full and richly textured the palate boasts mouthfilling liquorice, choc mint and dark plum flavours that create a sense of lusciousness with underlying vanillin cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannin structure. Good depth with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, choc mint and vanillin cedar aftertaste. Rich and supplely textured with a big mouthful of flavour, this Heathcote Shiraz is already very approachable now.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
