2014 Penley Estate Hyland Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Youthful freshly crushed berry aromas of dark cherries and blackberries are overlaid by vanillin cedar and liquorice with a hint of spice as an end note. Medium weight the palate has flavours of freshly crushed dark cherries and blackberries with some vanillin oak poking out and a touch of liquorice and spice also present. Soft round mouthfeel with velvety tannins. Aftertaste of freshly crushed berries, inky liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
