2014 Smidge Adamo Shiraz

Magnificent colour saturation displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe black cherry, liquorice and dark plum aromas overlay subtlety smoked vanillin cedar and spicy dried fruit notes. Big and rich with a solid tannic grip on the finish the palate has mouthfilling flavours of black cherries and liquorice infused with black plums over some vanillin cedar, subtle dried fruits and spice. The acidity is a touch sharp with an aftertaste of ripe black cherries, liquorice, black plums, spicy vanillin cedar and subtle dried fruits.
