2014 Warrabilla Reserve Durif

Totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Pronounced ripe Morello cherry and black plum aromas are followed by some liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice. Big and dense the palate has plenty of richness but is not quite as super concentrated as some of the past Reserve Durifs that we’ve seen from Warrabilla. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe Morello cherries, dark plum and liquorice with underlying vanillin cedar and spice. Dryish finish with a solid robust tannin structure imparting some grip. Long aftertaste of ripe Morello cherries, dark plum, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
