2014 Willow Bridge Estate Solana Tempranillo

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Nosing reveals black cherry and liquorice top notes with hints of graphite also present over vanillin cedar and spice. Sturdily built, within this solid framework is a richly flavoured palate of ripe black cherries and liquorice infused with graphite and an undercarriage of spicy vanillin cedar. Peppery finish. Rock solid tannins give the wine a grippy mouthfeel, particularly on the finish. Long peppery aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, graphite and spicy vanillin cedar.
