2014 Zonte's Footstep Chocolate Factory Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose opens with liquorice, dark plum and blackberry top notes followed by some vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and juicy the palate is filled with opulent liquorice and blackberry flavours sitting alongside some dark plum with underlying spicy, lightly toasted vanillin cedar and a touch of pepper on the finish. Supple mouthfeel with velvety tannins. Long deliciously rich aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spicy pepper.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
