2015 Ada River Heathcote Shiraz

Dense black as night core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Wafting out of the glass are heady scents of liquorice, blackberry and black plum followed by smoky vanillin cedar, earthy leather and peppered dried herb notes. Full in body and opulently textured the palate is awash with liquorice, black cherry and black plum fruits. Toasty vanillin oak, earthy leather and blackpepper elements lie underneath. Velvet smooth tannins finishing with some heat on the long plush aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
