2015 Adelphi Dailuaine 9 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Drawn from a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead, this deep, dark whisky is also notable as one of the first of the 'new Dailuaines'. A change took place when the production team altered the style of the spirit from nutty to waxy in 2015. It was Diageo's strategy to compensate for the loss of Clynelish in their market-leading blends when it temporarily closed for renovations. As of the Summer of 2022, Dailuaine reverted back to its original, nutty style, so a small window of opportunity exists for fans to experience the difference. 324 bottles are on offer at 56.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
