2015 Aquilani Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Perfumed violet top notes intermix with red cherries, hints of sour cherries and spicy herbs. Light in weight the palate is flavoured with a combination of red and sour cherries over some dried herb infusions and a faint touch of earth. Bright acidity with soft, finely grained tannins. Modest aftertaste of red and sour cherries, dried herbs and subtle earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
