2015 Arboleda Sauvignon Blanc

An intensely flavoured Sauvignon Blanc that highlights what Chile is capable of producing with this varietal.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Intensely scented the nose offers up an interesting combination of aromas that includes ripe gooseberries and dried herbs overlaid by hints of capsicum, some grassy characters and citrusy asparagus. Possessing a generous, fullish mouthfeel the palate delivers concentrated flavours of ripe gooseberries intermixed with grassy asparagus characters and dried herbs followed by traces of capsicum and a fresh burst of citrus on the dry crisp finish. Long aftertaste of gooseberries infused with grassy asparagus characters, some capsicum and citrusy dried herbs.
