2015 Argiano Rosso di Montalcino

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Elevated scents of dark cherries tinged with violets drift from the glass followed by dried herbs, lightly scorched earth and spicy old cedar. Very savoury with light to medium body weight and an elegant feel the palate features flavours of ripe red and dark cherries that are gently spiced over a back drop of earthy old cedar and spicy dried herbs. Dry finish with bright acidity and fine grained beautifully integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy red and dark cherries, earthy old cedar, old leather and dried herbs. A delicious, easy going Sangiovese.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
