2015 Babich Headwaters Pinot Noir

Certified Organic. Semi translucent dark red colour with a slightly lighter red hue. Fragrant aromatics of ripe dark cherries and plum laced with anise drift out of the glass followed by dried meats, toasty cedar and spicy dried herbs. Light to medium weight the palate is filled with rich savoury flavours of spicy ripe dark cherries and dark plums which intermix with subtle notions of anise, a touch of meatiness and spicy cedar. Very finely grained, perfectly integrated tannins finishing with fresh balanced acidity. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dark plums, traces of anise, earthy cedar, dried meats and spice.
Will be totally delicious in 5-6 years.
