2015 Barking Mad Watervale Shiraz

Matured in French oak hogsheads for 21 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose exhibits liquorice and ripe plum aromas over a back drop of vanillin oak and spice. Ripe in texture and flavour the palate is filled with spicy dark plum and liquorice flavours which ride over a background of toasty vanillin oak and subtle earth. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with an aftertaste of spice, dark plums, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
