2015 Bass Phillip Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with a slight glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peaches draped in dried honey are followed by some light butterscotch, hints of lemon butter and spicy oak. Light and fresh yet with a sense of creaminess to the mouthfeel the palate is elegantly flavoured with white peaches and citrus subtlety overlaid by dried honey. Lemon butter, faint cashew and citrusy nougat ensuing. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of lemon butter, citrusy nougat, subtle dried honey and cashew.
Cellar 5-6 years.
