2015 Bouvet Tresor

Made from Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay grapes this excellent sparkling cuvee has been fermented and aged in oak barrels to add further complexity to the blend. A fluffy white mousse has a steady hold over a pale straw coloured base that possesses a very fine and persistent bead. Aromas of baked bread combine with apple and yeast lees over some citrus. Fine creamy mouthfeel, that’s very Champagne like, with flavours of citrus and baked bread overlaying yeast lees, apple and subtle toast. Clean dry, refreshing finish with an aftertaste of baked bread, apple, citrus and yeast lees.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
