2015 Bream Creek Cuvee Traditionelle

A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay aged for over 5 years on lees. A buoyant fluffy white mousse dissipates to reveal a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold tinged edges, the bead very fine and persistent. Intense baked bread, citrus and yeast lees aromatics stream out of the glass with notions of brioche, light toast and subtle ginger also present. The finely detailed palate has a refined flavour profile of citrus, yeast lees, baked bread and subtle roasted almonds. Dry sculptured finish with crisp acidity and an elegant yet tense aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
