2015 Caliterra Reserva Carmenere

Totally opaque midnight black colour with a bright purple red hue. Aromas of violets and ripe blackcurrant merge into some cedary tobacco characters with subtle spicy dried herb end notes. Delivering fantastic richness for its price point within an elegant mouthfeel the generously fruited palate features blackcurrant flavours alongside a touch of liquorice wrapped up in a cedary tobacco component with dried herbs and spice following on. Finely grained perfectly balanced tannin structure. Finishes with an aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Super value.
