2015 Curly Flat Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red core with a light to brick red hue. Pronounced aromatics of dark cherries and ripe strawberries overlay light stalky cedar notes, forest floor and subtle spicy anise. Light to medium weight but rich and powerful the palate is blessed with generous ripe dark cherry and strawberry flavours that are subtlety laced with anise over spicy faintly toasted cedar, hints of dried meats and spice. Supplely textured with velvety tannins, this vintage is a little riper and perhaps not quite as complex as recent releases. Long spicy aftertaste of dark cherries, ripe strawberries, subtle anise, a touch of meatiness and spicy cedar.
