2015 Delas Saint-Joseph Francois de Tournon
Other Reviews....
The three St Joseph cuvées include the brooding and backward 2015 Saint Joseph Francois de Tournon, which will spend roughly 12 months in a mix of barrels and stainless steel. Its inky black/purple color is followed by Hermitage-like aromas and flavors of burning embers, crushed rocks, liquid blackberries and cassis. Full-bodied, deep, rich and layered, with bright acidity and fine tannin, it's a killer wine to buy by the case.

Dark, fresh plum fruits and cocoa powdery complexity. A plush, concentrated palate with plenty of dark plum and plum stone flavor. Drink now.

Glass-staining ruby. High-pitched, mineral-accented aromas of blackberry and cherry are complemented by a sexy floral nuance and a hint of licorice. Sappy, incisive and appealingly sweet, offering vibrant black and blue fruit flavors and a jolt of peppery spices. Finishes sweet and impressively long, displaying smoky mineral and spice notes and slow-mounting tannins.
