2015 Domaine Remi Jobard Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots

Excellent depth of colour displaying a bright dark red core with black tinged edges and a vibrant purple red hue. A fragrant nose is redolent with violets, fresh red cherries and hints of sour cherries over lightly earthed fresh herb infusions and spicy cedar. Light and fresh the palate possesses flavours of crunchy red cherries, light strawberries and traces of sour cherries over infusions of incense and spicy cedar. Dry, slightly chalky tannins with crunchy acidity. Concludes with a great deal of freshness and red cherries, strawberries, sour cherries, subtle fresh herb infusions and faint spicy cedar. A fresh, vibrant Volnay littered with crunchy red fruits.
