2015 Duke's Magpie Hill Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Superb depth of colour displaying a black as night dark red core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackcurrant aromas laced with dried herbs are followed by a hint of liquorice, cigar box, earthy vanillin cedar and spice notes. Medium to full bodied, rich blackcurrant and subtle black cherry flavours hold sway over a background of subtle mulberry, earthy black olive, cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish, solidly built tannins carry the fruit well. Long finish of blackcurrant infused with dried herbs, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, earthy black olives and spice.
