2015 Heggies Vineyard Estate Chardonnay

Heggies Estate is perched in the high country of Eden Valley where the combination of cool climate and altitude provide the perfect conditions for producing outstanding Chardonnay.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Showing excellent intensity nosing yields aromas of ripe peaches and melon intermixed with honeycomb, biscuity oak, cashew and spicy nougat. Rich with a round creamy textural feel yet still retaining its freshness the palate boast a mouthfilling flavour profile of ripe peaches, honeycomb and subtle cashew over citrusy nougat and spice. Excellent acid balance and concentration with a long finish of ripe peaches, honeycomb, subtle cashew, biscuity oak and spicy nougat.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
