A blend of Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Carignan. Bright dark red core with a tinge of black around the outskirts and a vibrant red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe red raspberries and strawberries laced with incense sail from the glass followed by hints of liquorice, light earth and spice. Light in body the palate has juicy dark cherry and raspberry flavours subtlety infused with dried herbs over some liquorice, earth and spice. Finishes with bright acidity, well integrated finely grained tannins and an aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, ripe dark cherries, subtle dried herb infusions and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
A light, brilliantly coloured blend of grenache, shiraz, mourvedre, cinsaut and carignan. A finely wrought and balanced wine with just about every spice and every red berry you can imagine from this Southern Rhone blend. A truly wonderful trattoria wine that soars on the gently savoury finish.
Drink by 2030.
