Other Reviews….
Hand-picked, whole berries and whole bunches small batch open-fermented, larger concrete fermenters at the original winery also included for extended maceration on skins for 2 weeks, matured for 19 months in French oak (27% new). Both bouquet and medium-bodied palate offer a tapestry of black fruits, spices and black pepper, tannins woven through the succulent, juicy black fruits, French oak there or thereabouts, and fine lingering tannins. Drink by 2035.
