2015 Saint Clair Pinot Noir

Deep bright red purple colour with a crimson purple hue. Scented aromas of dark cherries laced with subtle anise and dried herbs are followed by some gamey characters and stemmy cedar. Light in weight but generously flavoured with dark cherries, strawberries and delicate dried herb infusions followed by some meatiness, a savoury stemminess and spicy cedar. Fine elegant mouthfeel with very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, dried herbs, meatiness, stemmy cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
