2015 Tatachilla Partners Cabernet Shiraz

This blend has excellent saturation of colour for an entry level quaffer displaying a black as night core with a deep dark purple black hue. Somewhat restrained the nose slowly yields aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberries and liquorice over some spicy vanillin cedar. Medium bodied the palate is filled with juicy freshly crushed berry flavours of blackcurrants, liquorice and plums followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Finishes with bright acidity and fine grained, slightly dryish tannins. Aftertaste of just crushed blackcurrant, plums and liquorice as well as spicy vanillin cedar.
