2015 Yering Station Pinot Noir

Matured in 500 litre French oak puncheons for 11 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark crimson red hue. Perfumed aromas of dark cherries laced with hints of violets intermingle with strawberry and subtle anise followed by spicy cedar. Light, flavoursome and displaying a very good power wave this moreish Pinot dishes up spicy ripe dark cherry and strawberry flavours subtlety laced with anise over a backdrop of spicy lightly toasted cedar. Slightly dryish on the finish with well balanced acidity and fine grained tannins. Long spicy dark cherry, strawberry, subtle anise and spicy cedar aftertaste.
