2016 Alan McCorkindale Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with a light greenish tinge around the edges. Scented aromas of ripe gooseberries and passionfruit intermix with green apple and lime finishing with grassy fresh herb notes. Concentrated passionfruit and ripe gooseberry flavours drive the palate with an undercurrent of lime, subtle green apple and a touch of herbaceous characters. Despite its intensity the flavours travel lightly across the palate and show excellent persistence. Crunchy acidity with a long aftertaste of passionfruit, gooseberries, lime and herbaceous grassy characters.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
