2016 Argiano Rosso di Montalcino

Deep dark red core with a bright red hue. The nose displays fragrant ripe red cherry and red currant aromas laced with hints of dusty cedar, dried herbs and spice. Light to medium weight the savoury styled palate dishes up flavours of spicy red currants and ripe red cherries with notions of earthy cedar and dried meats ensuing. Finishes dry with fresh, vibrant but balanced acidity and slightly grainy tannins. Aftertaste of spicy red currants, ripe cherries, earthy cedar and spicy dried herbs.
