Semi translucent red to dark red colour with a light red hue. Multifaceted the nose offers up fragrant aromatics right through the full cherry spectrum from sour to red to dark which intermix with winter strawberries and floral rose petal notes. Subtle vanillin cedar, forest floor, fresh herb and spice notes also chime in. Bright and light on its feel yet at the same time powerful and supple, the palate is decorated with sour, red and dark cherry fruits in conjunction with winter strawberries, infusions of fresh herbs, forest floor, spicy cedar and subtle game like qualities. Very smooth tannins with vibrant underlying acidity. Outstanding power wave with a long vivid aftertaste that’s littered with bright red fruit.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 13.1%

Other Reviews….
An extravagantly beautiful wine that floats across the senses making the Premium seem (improbably) uncouth on the way past. Its perfume is no false dawn, its flavours drawn across the palate by silken threads that only come fully into play when you think about spitting the wine out, and refuse point blank to countenance that. Great pinot noir proves its ascendance over all other varietal wines by its peerless beauty of youth, of middle age, and of old age. I've sworn never to give a table wine 100 points, which this richly deserves. Drink by 2046.
