2016 Campbells of Rutherglen Shiraz Durif

Impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. Nosing offers up aromas of ripe Morello cherries, liquorice and dark plum with some vanillin cedar and spice ensuing. Medium to full bodied with a plush mouthfeel, rich Morello cherry, plum and liquorice flavours fill the palate over vanillin cedar, light scorched earth and spice. Velvet smooth tannins concluding with a dark plum, ripe Morello cherry, liquorice, faint earth and spicy vanillin cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
