2016 Cantina Tollo Rocca Ventosa Sangiovese Terre di Chieti

Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright purple red hue. Aromas of freshly crushed ripe cherries and red currant intermingle with hints of dried herbs, earth and spice. Light to medium weight with good generosity of fruit, flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum sit over light earth and spice. Soft finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe cherries, plums, subtle earth and spice. A fruity, easy going Sangiovese to drink over the next 2-3 years.
