2016 Cape Barren Native Goose Shiraz

Pitch black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated dark plum, liquorice and blackberry aromas overlay lightly smoked vanillin cedar and spicy pepper notes. Medium to full bodied with ample richness the palate features generously textured flavours of dark plums, liquorice and traces of fresh blackberries over smoky vanillin cedar, some dried meats and pepper. Sturdy fine grained tannins and fresh acidity provide good structure. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle dried meats and pepper.
