2016 Chartley Estate Lavinia Sparkling

A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay matured for 3 years on lees. A frothy white mousse overlays a pale straw coloured base that has a steady stream of nibble bubbles flowing through it. Lifted pear, baked bread and red apple scents are intertwined with yeast lees and toasty dried honey like notes. Rich and full yet vibrant and refreshing the palate is filled with pear, citrus and yeasty baked bread flavours which sit over an oily toast back drop. Finishes dry and slightly creamy with a vivid sculpture and a very yeasty aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
