2016 Chateau de Quincay Sauvignon

Brilliant pale straw colour with a glimmer of green to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe citrus and subtle pear are laced with grassy asparagus characters followed by smoky dried herb and spice notes. Light with a feeling of freshness, spicy citrus flavours are overlaid with green herbs and subtle smoky lees like characters with herbaceous grassy characters ensuing. Dry crisp finish with an aftertaste of spicy citrus, fresh herb infusions, grassy asparagus characters and a subtle smoky lees element.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
