2016 Derwent Estate Pinot Noir

Good depth of colour displaying a dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Fragrant aromas of violets, dark cherries and ripe strawberries subtlety tinged with anise, lightly toasted cedar and spice drift from the glass. Light to medium weight with an elegant feel yet excellent richness and power, flavours of spicy ripe dark cherries, strawberries, anise and lightly toasted cedar fill the mouth. Supple mouthfeel with very refined, beautifully integrated tannins and balanced acidity. Long conclusion of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, anise, lightly toasted cedar and spice.
