2016 Dr Loosen Dr L Riesling

This is the entry level Riesling of the Loosen range, which is made in a bright, vibrant, fruit driven style. Fruit is sourced from contracted growers located throughout the Mosel River Valley who work very closely with brothers Ernst and Thomas Loosen to achieve excellent fruit quality and concentration every vintage.

Brilliant water like core with greenish tinged edges. Aromas of lime interact with hints of orange blossom, fresh red apple, faint quince and mineral. Light and refreshing with a nicely textured feel the palate features flavours of zesty lime and red apple tinged with light honeysuckle over some orange blossom infusions and subtle flinty mineral nuances. Finishes dry and crisp with an aftertaste of limes, ripe red apples, light honeysuckle and flinty mineral infusions.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
