2016 Forester Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe nectarines tinged with grapefruit are followed by hints of dried honey, subtle biscuity oak and gun flint. Medium bodied with a fresh feel, flavours of nectarines laced with dried honey fill the mouth over a touch of grapefruit, infusions of gun flint and faint spicy nougat. Dry finish with vibrant acidity and an aftertaste of nectarines, dried honey, light grapefruit, traces of gun flint and spicy citrusy nougat.
