2016 Plantagenet Three Lions Shiraz

Opaque dark red black core with a dark red hue. Prominent charry vanillin oak aromas dominate the nose with aniseed, smoked meats and pepper notes also evident. Medium to full bodied there’s good richness to the aniseed and dark plum fruit with smoky vanillin oak, some meatiness and blackpepper characters then moving in. Supple mid palate feel with ripe chewy tannins. Aftertaste of smoky aniseed, dried meats, scorched earth and blackpepper.
