Avatar is typically a blend of approximately 50% old vine Grenache, 30% Mataro and 20% Shiraz matured in seasoned oak for 12 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Intense dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice aromas meld into vanillin cedar, earth, subtle dried herb and spice notes. Generously weighted the palate is flooded with rich dark raspberry, dark cherry and liquorice fruit which holds sway over a back drop of dark chocolate, vanillin cedar, subtle earth and spicy dried herbs. Plush and deeply concentrated with silky smooth tannins leading into a long sumptuous aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Grenache mataro shiraz. The bouquet is fragrant, pointing directly at the medium-bodied marriage of red and black cherry, raspberry and plum. It has balance and length, the finish and lingering aftertaste highlights. Drink by 2026.
