2016 Tomich Woodside Vineyard Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated black cherry and liquorice aromas converge with dried meat, smoky cedar, a hint of leather and distinct blackpepper notes. Medium to full bodied with a plush but refined feel, ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry flavours overlay smoky vanillin cedar and some meatiness with a blackpepper infused finish. Velvety yet structural tannins concluding long and savoury.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
