2016 Toscolo Chianti

Deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. Elevated ripe cherry and blackcurrant aromas merge into earth, dried herbs and spice notes. Light in body with a very elegant, earthy feel the palate has flavours of spicy red cherries, earth, old cedar and dried herbs. Finishes dry with bright acidity and fine but grainy tannins. Moderate aftertaste of spicy red cherries, earth and spice.
Cellar 2-3 years.
