2016 Vavasour Pinot Gris

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The beautifully aromatic nose displays excellent intensity with top notes of rosewater, ripe pears and musk intermixed with some honeysuckle and faint spice. Rich with a luscious mouthfilling textural feel in the traditional sense of Pinot Gris, the palate dishes up flavours of ripe pears, musk and lychee with some honeysuckle infusions and a touch of spice on the medium dry finish. Soft acidity with a long luscious aftertaste of ripe pear, musk, lychees, subtle honeysuckle and spice. A delicious old school Pinot Gris.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
