2016 Zonte's Footstep Chocolate Factory Shiraz

Outstanding depth of colour displaying an impenetrable pitch black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas meld into toasty oak and spice notes. Rich and on the fuller side in terms of its weight, the palate is filled with juicy blackberry, liquorice and dark plum flavours which sit over subtlety toasted vanillin oak and spice characters. Finishes with good freshness and velvety tannins. Long succulent aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, subtlety toasted vanillin oak and spice.
