2017 Apsley Gorge Vineyard Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with greeny pale gold tints to the edges. Intense ripe nectarine aromas combine with pear and honeyed toast notes. Lemon butter, citrusy nougat and spice characters ensue. Rich in both body and flavour, creamy textured ripe nectarine, peach, honey and oily toast characters meld into some roasted almond, citrusy nougat and spice. Excellent depth finishing dry with a lick of fresh acidity and a long richly textured aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
