2017 Argiano Rosso di Montalcino

Bright red colour with dark red edges and a light red hue. Aromas of red currants and red cherries subtlety infused with graphite are followed by some earth and spicy dried herb notes. Juicy ripe red cherry and red currant flavours have a vibrant feel as a result of the underlying fresh acidity. Earth and spicy dried herb characters sit in the background. Firm rustic tannins give the medium length conclusion a dry chalky feel.
