2017 Bird on a Wire Marsanne

Brilliant very pale straw colour with distinct highlights of green running around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pear and honeysuckle mix with light toast, citrus and a hint of cinnamon. Rich pear, honeysuckle and roasted almond flavours have a full, textured feel with some spicy cinnamon characters the finishing touch. Nicely balanced fresh acidity counterpoints the creamy mouthfeel. Concludes medium to long with plenty of spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
