2017 Caliterra Tributo Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque dark red black core with a dark red hue. Fragrant violet and tobacco laced red currant aromas blossom from the glass with underlying vanillin cedar and spicy herb notes. Medium bodied with an elegant, seamless feel, flavours of red currant are backed by cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice. Fine well integrated tannins and balanced acidity, concluding with a savoury medium length finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

A solid Chilean cabernet with a healthy tannin structure for 2017 with bright cassis and some savory notes. The balance on the palate is already very satisfying, the finish long and quite polished. Drink or hold.
