2017 Charteris Pinot Noir

Produced with 36% whole bunch inclusion and matured in French oak of which 25% was new. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Perfumed violet scents meld into spicy dark cherry and dark plum notes with anise, subtle forest floor and spicy cedar ensuing. Light and elegant with a vibrant feel, red to dark cherry and subtle winter strawberry fruits are underpinned by forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Fine grained tannins with bright underlying acidity and a moderately powered aftertaste.
