2017 Chateau du Nozay Sancerre

Chateau du Nozay is the domaines premium offering sourced from the oldest vineyards on the estate with the wine being partially vinified in oak barrels for 12 months, the balance in stainless steel vats.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced lime and herbaceous grassy characters intermix with green apple, citrus, infusions of fresh herbs and wet stone notes. Texturally round and mouthfilling, intense ripe lime and green apple flavours are underscored by some herbaceous grassy characters, citrus, lightly spiced herbs and some wet stone nuances. Dry, fresh finish with crisp acidity and a long delicious aftertaste that invites you back for more.
